CCNY BIOLOGY CLUB

My name is Mohamed Ghanem and I am the treasurer for the 2019-2020 Biology Executive board. Primarily, I would like to say I am honored to be a part of this year’s executive board and hope to fulfill the expectations of my peers as well as my fellow underclassmen. As an undergraduate student at the City College of New York, I found myself yearning to be more involved in my University and contribute to such a proactive club. Being a pre-med student, I do not underestimate the demands of medical school, therefore I hope to connect students to different resources to further their careers in the scientific field. As my years at City College go by, I aim to leave an impact on students’ lives and through the biology club — help them reach their goals. My zeal for the medical field emerged from my interest in science, compassion for others, and curiosity behind the mechanisms of the scientific field. As an rising Emergency Medical Technician alongside volunteering at the New York Presbyterian hospital, I hope to gain as much experience as possible while looking for more opportunities to learn and grow.
